Transforming Cranio Maxillo Facial Surgery with AI, 3D Planning and AR Technologies – Hands On
Discover the future of Cranio Maxillo Facial (CMF) surgery in this hands-on training workshop, where cutting-edge technologies meet clinical expertise. This session will cover:
- Automatic segmentation using AI tools for accurate and efficient anatomical modeling.
- Surgical planning with Enlight CMF, showcasing its application in complex oncological cases.
- Designing surgical guides in 3-Matic Software, enabling precise and customized solutions for the operating room.
- Visualization of the planned case using AR visors, offering an immersive experience to better understand and optimize surgical planning.
Led by a surgeon with years of experience in 3D planning (Dr. Tel from the University Hospital of Udine), this workshop will demonstrate how these technologies can be integrated into daily clinical routines to deliver more reliable and predictable results in the OR.
The session will also highlight the advantages of in-house 3D planning technologies for other fields of application like orthognathic and trauma cases.

- Participants will receive a 4-week trial license for the software following the workshop.
