LUIGI CALIFANO AWARD
The Luigi Califano Award is a prestigious recognition established by the Italian Society of Maxillofacial Surgery (SICMF) to honor the legacy of Professor Luigi Califano, a distinguished figure in the field of maxillofacial surgery. This award is dedicated to encouraging and supporting the next generation of surgeons by recognizing their outstanding research and contributions to the advancement of the discipline.
The award is exclusively reserved for young specialists or residents in maxillofacial surgery who are active members of SICMF and are under the age of 35. Eligible participants must submit an abstract by April 15, 2024, specifying “SICMF” in the Congress submission. Participants must present and discuss a scientific communication of significant relevance during the Congress. The award will be granted based on the evaluation of submitted research presentations by a panel of esteemed experts in the field.
Award Prizes:
- Four prizes of €500 each
By acknowledging excellence in research, the Luigi Califano Award aims to inspire young professionals to push the boundaries of scientific discovery and clinical innovation in maxillofacial surgery.
